LEAP partnered with the Aviation High School in Des Moines Washington, to prototype this program using the emerging electric aircraft industry as its context. We now have three active teams and three more in the planning phase with ideas and requests for more! The education program focuses on experiential learning with the following goals:

• Engage students and teachers in the state of the art and future of [electric aviation - for example] through hands-on or “lived” experience.
• Use authentic project-based learning and teaching to drive inspirational and effective science, technology, engineering and math curriculum development.
• Develop an educational program that teaches entrepreneurial skills, and the value of teamwork and project design.
• Motivate students and teachers to investigate, document, share, and be inspired by creative solutions to problems.
• Empower students to self-advocate and become life-long learners and agents of change.
